About us

WE ARE SHADZ CARE

We have a team of trained support staff who provide a high quality service in line with Domiciliary Care Agency Regulations 2002 of the National Care Standards.

Shadz Care Ltd was established by two sisters Beulla and Beverly, who are proud in their flexibility and cooperative approach in ensuring that people who use their services receive high quality service. Both Beulla and Beverly have extensive nursing experience and knowledge on providing care that is ‘person centred’, between the two of them they have over 20 years nursing experience working in the NHS.

Medical Services

Suitable arrangements for the provision of medical treatment are made.  This includes encouraging, supporting, prompting and escorting service users to attend regular check-ups at opticians, dentists, chiropodists etc as required. Service users are supported to register with a local GP and are given a choice of GP where possible to do so.

Support with work opportunities

Support is offered for service users to attend day service or some other form of work or educational activity of their choice with support.  The fees are set, and staffing arranged accordingly.  The service also accepts service users who do not participate in such services, depending on the individuals’ circumstances and day to day living … Continue reading Support with work opportunities

Religious Activities

Service users’ religious needs are met by planning in partnership with the service users and their families etc.  Service users are supported by staff to attend religious activities of their choice.
